Step by Step Convert DXL to MSG

Go to Start » All Programs » SysTools DXL To MSG Converter » SysTools DXL To MSG Converter.
The window for SysTools DXL to MSG Converter v1.0 will be displayed on screen and appear as shown below:

Next, you can see the DXL to MSG Converter v1.0 window with a Windows Explorer hierarchical structure showing the file contents as it is the optimum way to represent multiple folders.
Now select your .dxl files by selecting a parent folder. By selecting the folder, a list of file(s) will display on right hand side of the window i.e., the preview panel.

Select Normal Mail View button or tab (the default view is the normal mail view) to previewc the email content as shown below.

To see the attachments of .dxl file(s), just click on attachments button. You can preview the attachments like; doc / docx, xls / xlsx, pdf, etc.

If you want to change the layout from vertical to horizontal or vice versa, go to Switch view » Horizontal/Vertical.

If you want to convert a few selected.dxl file(s) to .msg file(s) from multiple folders. Click on the respective check boxes and right click for export option.

You can also select multiple .dxl files or all .dxl files to be extracted at once. If you want to perform random selections, then select the respective check boxes. However, if you want to select all the files, click on the "Export" button given on the software menu.

When you will select the file(s) and click on Export button given on the left hand side, then an Export Option window will appear.
This window consists of three major options:
Maintain Hierarchy: In this option the hierarchical structure remains constant.
Flat Hierarchy: It will maintain all the converted DXL files in the same folder.
Store at Source Location: This option lets you store converted files(s) to the same (source)location.

Maintain Hierarchy And Naming Conventions: You can save .msg files according to naming conventions.
With AutoIncrement option, save MSG file name in numeric order.
With MD5 option compare two same DXL files, after saving as MSG file type.

Browse a destination folder or create a New Folder at your desired location where you want to store the .msg file(s). Click on "Export" to continue the migration from DXL 2 MSG.

The export process will show you a location where you can save the exported data including item count.

At last, as the process finishes, a popup will appear displaying the message “Export Completed Successfully”. Click "OK" to Exit.

You can see the converted MSG files by simply navigating to the destination folder storing output MSG files.
