Tips to Export Contacts from Lotus Notes to Outlook Express

Go to Start Menu » All Programs » SysTools Notes Contacts to Outlook Express » SysTools Notes Contacts to Outlook Express.

Click on Browse button to select and open Lotus Notes address book File (.nsf file)

After clicking on the Browse button choose the names.nsf file and click on Open button to load the file on software.

Now click on the "Scan Notes Contacts" button from the following screen:

The software will start scanning and reading the selected Notes Address Book file (names.nsf file) contacts.

A "Notes Address Book Scan Completed" pop up will appear. Click OK.

After complete scanning of the selected .nsf file, the software will display all the contacts found in the Lotus Notes address book file (names.nsf) arranged in an alphabetical order.

Now click on "Export Contacts" button to export the contacts into a CSV File.

Select the contact fields that you wish to export and click on Start Conversion button to convert Notes contacts to CSV File.

Now choose the location where you would want to save the exported CSV file. Click OK.

After selecting Destination Location, the software will show export progress of the Lotus Notes Address Book file or Notes contacts to CSV file.

The number of contacts exported successfully to OE-Contacts.csv file will be shown on the Conversion Completed window notifying about the successful conversion of contacts. Click Ok.

Importing CSV File to Outlook Express

Open Outlook Express. Go to File » Import » Other Address Book... as shown below:

Select Text File(Comma Separated Values), and then click on Import as shown below:

Now locate the CSV file (OE-Contacts.csv) created using SysTools Notes Contacts to Outlook Express.
Click on Browse to select exported CSV file (OE-Contacts.csv)

Select the CSV file and click on Open button.

Now click on Next button from the following screen:

Now select the fields that you wish to import and click on Finish button as shown below:

The software will show live view of contacts being imported.

A confirmation dialog box for successfully exported contacts will appear. Click Ok.
