How to Convert OLM Files to EML Files?
Here are the complete steps to know how to convert OLM emails into EML format, which can further be accessed on a variety of desktop mail clients like; Windows Mail, Window Live Mail, and Outlook Express.
Start Menu » All Programs » SysTools Outlook Mac Recovery » SysTools Outlook Mac Recovery
Click on the "Browse" button, select the path of the OLM file, i.e. select the OLM file which you want to convert.
Now select the OLM file from its location and Click Open:
Then, click on the other “Browse” button.
As you click on the second “Browse” button, the given screen will appear, where you need to provide the destination path.
After selection of the destination path if you want to maintain the same Folder Hierarchy i.e., keep the same order of the folder as that of the previous Email Client, click on Yes.
Click on the radio button “Yes” if you want to maintain the hierarchy and click on “No” if you don’t want the hierarchy to be maintained.
One more option that is available for you is; Naming the EML. Either select “Subject” to keep the same name in the converted file or “Guid” to generate the Garbage User Id in the EML file.
Now click on the “Export” button to start the OLM to EML file conversion.
As you can see the current status of the converted file in the “Export Status”:
• Exported Mail Count
• Current Folder Path
• Current Folder Processed
• Current Mail Subject
As the migration finishes, you will be prompted about its completion and the path of the converted file will be shown.
Click 'OK'
Now find the EML files in the same folder which you had selected during the conversion process for saving the output.
