3. Then use the command below to clean shutdown the Exchange database

eseutil /r E001 /i /d

Here, the check point file name is E001 in the RDB0.

Note: First check the name of checkpoint file name then use it in this command.

3. Now the Exchange database is in clean shutdown state

Step 2: Mount the RDB (Recovery Database)

1. In the EMS (Exchange Management Shell) use the cmdlet given below to mount Recovery database

Step 3: Assign the Role to Import Export Mailbox

Insert the command given below to assign the role in the Exchange Management Shell >> Then restart the EMS when the Import Export Role is assigned

New-ManagementRoleAssignment –Role “Mailbox Import Export” –User “enter_the_name_of_user”

Step 4: Export the EDB Mailboxes to PST from RDB

User have to use the New-MailboxExportRequest cmdlet given below for Exchange 2010 recovery database export to PST.

1. To export the single Exchange database mailbox from the Exchange 2010 recovery database, use this cmdlet:

New-MailboxExportRequest -Mailbox “Enter the name of mailbox” -FilePath “insert UNC path\nameoffile.pst”
