IMAP Email Importer Software Guide

Begin the process by properly download the software and install it in your computer.

Activate your tool by going tho the Activation Steps

The Help section below of the screen provides the information of each software sections.

Select your email file format from Source tab. IMAP from Destination tab.

Click Date Filter for selective import. Set a date range and the tool sorts out the emails.

To upload your email files in software. First create a local email folder in root drive.

Name the folder same as the file that you are importing.

Add users subfolder within the email folders. Create multiple subfolders for multiple users.

Every folder contains unique email files.

So, the folder structue look like this:

E:/EML/[email protected]/(put all EML files of user1)
E:/EML/[email protected]/(put all EML files of user2)
E:/EML/[email protected]/(put all EML files of user3)
etc...

With this same way create folders of other email files: PST, MBOX, and MSG.

Add your email folder in source dashboard. Make sure it has necessary permissions.

Click Validate button to verify the files permissions.

Choose the IMAP options in which you want to import the files.

Validate your destination accounts as well. After verifying, click Next.

Add user accounts in the software. For this, it provides you three options

Fetch Users: Automatically fetch source user IDs from your desktop.

Import Users: Submit a CSV file for user mapping.

Download Template: Download the sample ID map file and manually add the user details..

After fetching source user, add destination user and app password.

Make sure you validate both source and destination users.

You can import specific users emails to the account by selecting them. The Show Selected option allows you to view your selected users.

Set User Priority to upload important emails first. Then, click on Start Import option to begin the process of uploading.

Wait patiently to get the importing process is done.

The tool offer three re-import options when some of the emails are failed to upload.

• Retry Failed Items: Re-import failed email files again.
• Re-Run Full Import: Start complete import process again and upload only failed items.
• Delta Import: Upload only new emails in your account.

After the importing the files in the destination account. It generates two reports for your analysis.

• Summary Report: An overview of the import details containing source ID, destination ID, Status, Source name, Destination Name, etc.
• Detailed Report: Create individual summary reports of all the users.

Download the report in CSV file in your local machine.

After that, you can share your report, view, and analyze as per you need.

If you are manually importing your user ID map. First, click on the download button, add the informations in CSV file. Save it and submit it to the software. Here's the sample file.

The rest of the steps of validating, set priority, etc. are the same.

Now, you have import your emails in your email account. Go to your email service to see if the emails are properly uploaded or not.
