How to Migrate Kerio to Office 365 Account Manually?

  1. Log in to M365 Admin Center. Go to Settings > Domains and verify the root domain. Add TXT verification details.
  2. Navigate to Users > Active users and ensure that all users have their licenses.
  3. Create a CSV file with three columns: Email Address, UserName, and Password. Fill it with all details.
  4. In Exchange Admin Center, go to Recipients → Migration. Click … → Migration endpoints → + New. Select IMAP as the migration type. Enter Kerio Details, type a unique name, and press Save.
  5. Go back to the migration pane and click + New migration batch. Choose the correct option, add your CSV, and pick the Kerio endpoint. Click on New to launch.
  6. The project will run in the background and take as much time as there is data in the source. Once the status shows “Synced,” send test emails and verify Office 365 delivery.

  2. Select Export to a file and press Next. Choose Outlook Data File (.pst).
  3. Select the root folder of your Kerio mailbox. Tick the checkbox for Include subfolders. Hit Next.
  4. Choose a safe path and complete the export procedure.
  5. Now, move the exported data into your destination Outlook account.

Transfer Emails from Kerio to Outlook via Drag & Drop Option

It is a much easier manual way than the KOFF option, and you can easily move emails and attachments. Here, you have to simply add your Kerio account via IMAP and move the emails between folders. Here are the detailed steps.

  1. Run Microsoft Outlook, then go to File >> Add Account.
  2. Enter your Kerio Connect email address. Choose Advanced options >> Let me set up my account manually. Select IMAP.
  3. Provide Kerio IMAP server details and password. Wait for the emails to sync.
