SysTools Access Converter Software: Here's How it Works

Export or Convert MS Access Database ACCDB / MDB File(s) into Multiple Formats

STEP 1

Go to Start » select Access Converter software

Click on the Browse button to select the corrupt Access MDB/ACCDB file from its respective location on the drive and click the Open button. As shown below:

Once you reached to the respective location click on the Open button to add the files. As shown below:

STEP 3

Once the file is added click on the Recover button to begin the recovery of the data and conversion of the Access database:

After clicking on the recovery button, the Access converter software will start the conversion process. After the process has been completed, click on the Close button:

After the recovery process you can see the all your Table Details on the left:

Click on the Plus icon to expand the table and to see all items in that table. Along with this you can also able to see the recovered Access database in the Right preview pane.

Oncc the data loaded into the software you can view all the data in view pane. After this process click on the Export button to start the exporting process of the MS Access files:

After clicking the Export button, you will see six options to choose from based on your requirements as Specified below.

STEP 8

Choose MS Access (Access Converter)

If you want to export data in MS Access original database then select MS Access (Access Converter), and then click on the Browser and select the Folder option from your system, and then press the OK button.

After selecting the export option choose the Destination location.

Now from the Export Option section you can choose the different option to maintain the schema of the Access database. Like Only Schema and Schema & Data. One can also opt for the Export Deleted Record

After the section of Schema data click on the Export/Save button below to start the process of conversion.

Once the Export/Save process is completed, you will see the converted file data on the screen. Then click the OK button.

After completing the whole process, you can see the following output folder, where the conversion data is saved.

Choose Export (.xls)

After selecting Excel (.xls), click Browser and select the Folder option from your system, and then press the OK button.

Once the data loaded into the software choose Export Excel Option

click on Export/Save

After the Export Excel option selection choose destination location.

Choose the Schema options and then click the Export/Save button below.

After this click on the Export button to save the data.

Click on the OK once the task is completed.

After completing the whole process, you can see the following output folder where the conversion data is saved.

Choose CSV File

After selecting CSV file, click Browser and select the Folder option from your system and then press the OK button.

Select the Destination to save the exported data.

Select the Schema option as per your requirements and click on the Export/Save Export/Savebutton below.

After the Export/Save process is completed, you will see the converted file data on the screen. Then click the OK button.

STEP 11

After completing the whole process, you can see the following output folder, where the conversion data is saved.

Choose SQL Server

After selecting SQL Server, provide Server Name and Authentication.

Now provide database name, the tool will create a database in SQL server with same name and migrate complete data in same.

STEP 9

Choose Export Option

Only Schema: This option will allows to migrate only schema of selected tables to SQL Server database.

Schema & Data: This option will allows to migrate Schema and Data both from MS access database to SQL server database.

Export Deleted Records: This option will allow users to migrate deleted records also. Check this option, if you want to retrieve deleted records and then migrate to SQL database. At last click on Export/Save button.

STEP 10

Now the tool will start migration MS Access database to SQL Server database, check progress report.

After completing migration progress, the tool will generate export process report. That includes table name and number of records migrated, Hit OK button.

Now launch SQL server database and verify migrated records.

STEP 8

Choose SQL Script

Choose the SQL Script export option to convert access data.

STEP 9

After selecting the export option choose destination location to save the file.

Schema & Data: This option will allows to migrate Schema and Data both from MS access database to SQL server database.

Export Deleted Records: This option will allow users to migrate deleted records also. Check this option, if you want to retrieve deleted records and then migrate to SQL database. At last click on Export/Save button.

STEP 11

After this click on he Export button to start the conversion process.

After completing migration progress, the tool will generate export process report. That includes table name and number of records migrated, Hit OK button.

Now launch SQL server database and verify migrated records.

STEP 8

Choose Excel (xlsx)

To convert access data into Excel xlsx choose xlsx file format from export option.

STEP 9

Select Export Excel Option under browse destination option.

After this select the Destination location to save the data.

Choose Export Option

Only Schema: This option will allows to migrate only schema of selected tables to SQL Server database.

STEP 11

Now the tool will start migration MS Access database to Excel check progress report and once it done click on the OK button..

Go to the destination location to see all the exported result.

Choose MySQL

Choose the MySQL export option to convert access data.

STEP 9

After selecting MySQL, provide Server Name, Username and password.

Now provide a database name, the tool will create a database in MySQL with the same name and migrate complete data in the same.

Choose Export Option

  • Only Schema: This option will allows to migrate only schema of selected tables to SQL Server database.
  • Schema & Data: This option will allows to migrate Schema and Data both from MS access database to SQL server database.

At last click on the Export/Save button.

STEP 12

Now the tool will start to migrate the MS Access database to MySQL database, check the progress report.
