SysTools MBOX Duplicates Remover: Know How it Works!

Firstly, download and run the SysTools MBOX Duplicates Remover. The initial UI of the software looks something like this.

Now, Click on "Add File & Folder" button to upload MBOX/MBX/MBS files.

It also offers a "Remove & Remove All" option to clear accidentally added Thunderbird MBOX data files.

After tapping on "Add Files" option, then you will have to choose the following MBOX files. Press on Open to add selected MBOX/MBX/MBS files.

After that, choose "Destination Path" to store the resultant and cleaned MBOX data file. Then, click on Next button.

Once the MBOX file is added, then you will be able to select Duplicate Removal Options. It provides Dual option, i.e, "Within MBOX file and Across MBOX file".

Now, choose the properties to detect the duplicates, as this offers 14+ parameters to choose. By default, "Subject and Mail Body" is selected; one can select and deselect as per their choice.

Select Action Mode, such as Delete Permanatly, Put a Flag, Mark as Expire, and Move to New MBOX file for removing duplicates.

Also, choose the Date Filter Option for deduplication. One can add a "Start Date and End Date" for specific duplicate deletion.

Finally, tap on Remove Duplicates button to start the deduplication process.

Note: Its free version only removes 25 emails per MBOX file and 10 mails across MBS files.

Now, you can easily view the complete status of total duplicate counts, along with success counts. If you want to preview more in a systematic manner, then click on View Report tab.

Tap on Export Report file, which is saved as a preview report of complete duplicate counts and success counts.

Now, you can view the Complete Deduplication Status in CSV file format.
