Split NSF By Subject: Steps to Know How it Works!

Let's Start With Split By Subject Option

STEP 1

Select the Split By Subject option to create separate NSF files for emails that match specific subject keywords or phrases.

Enter the required subject keyword or phrase in the Subject field. The software will create separate NSF files for emails that match the specified subject.

Note: Select All Documents if you wish to include emails from all folders in the output NSF file. The selected emails will also be added to the All Documents folder.

Click the Browse button to select the destination folder where the split NSF files will be saved.

Select the required destination folder from the Browse For Folder window. You can also click Make New Folder to create a new folder for saving the split NSF files.

After selecting the destination folder, click OK to confirm the location.

After confirming the destination path, click the Split button to start splitting the NSF file based on the specified subject keywords or phrases.

Enter the case-sensitive password for the HCL Notes ID file and click OK to continue.

STEP 7

Once the NSF splitting process is completed successfully, a confirmation message will appear. Click OK to close the message and continue.

After the splitting process is completed, the Record Count and Split Status are displayed for each NSF file. The Success File Count, Failed File Count, and overall progress are also shown at the bottom.

STEP 8

Click the View Report button to view the detailed report of the NSF splitting process.

The export report opens in Excel and displays the splitting details, including the Source User, Destination User, Success Count, and Failed Count for each NSF file.
