SysTools Mac Parquet Splitter Software: Step-by-Step Guide to Split Large Parquet Files

Quickly split .parquet files to smaller, easily shareable and organizable files in a hassle-free way.

STEP 1

Install and launch SysTools Mac Parquet Splitter Tool on your Mac device.

This smart solution offers four options to browse files for split process:

  • Add File(s): To add .parquet files manually in the software.
  • Add Folder(s): Add a complete folder for the split process.
  • Remove: To remove unwanted .parquet files from the software panel.
  • Remove All: Remove all loaded files from the software.

Then, click on "Add Files" button to load .parquet files for the split process.

Browse the required .parquet files to proceed with the file split operation.

The tool offers preview of the loaded files in the panel. If there are unrequired .parquet files that you don’t need for split process, you can simply click on the file to deselect it.

Then, click on the Next Button to proceed with the Parquet file split.

The Split Options Window will open. The tool offers three effective Split Modes:

  • Split by Records: To split Parquet Files based on Record Count specified.
  • Split by Size: To split the files based on desired sizes.
  • Split by Columns: Allows splitting .parquet tables by specified column names.

Choose the Split By Record Count Option to split large .parquet files by the number of records in each file.

Next, set the number of records for file split. The tool allows a range from 10 Records to 1 Million Records (10,00,000 records) per file.

Then, select the destination folder to save the resultant split files. The tool saves the files on the Desktop as the default location.

Next, click on the Split Button to begin the Parquet File split process.

After the process completion, a complete Split Status Report with Total File Count, Success File Count, Failed File Count is provided for future analysis.

Once the split process is finished, you can verify the resultant data in the specified destination.

Choose Split By Size Mode to split large-sized .parquet files by a desired size for each resultant file.

Next, set the desired file size for splitting process. The tool offers split size options in MB and GB, and offers the size range from 1MB to 10 GB for file split.

Next, add destination path to save the resultant files after the split process.

Then, click on the Split button to initiate the split process.

After the Parquet file is splitted, a pop-up message for Successful Split Process Completion will be displayed.

In the destination folder, check the .parquet files split by size.

Choose Split By Column mode to efficiently split the .parquet files by the specified column names.

Next, select the column names from the pop up window in the software panel. Once selected, click on OK button to proceed with the process.

Then, select the destination folder to save the resultant split files. If no destination chosen, The tool will save the resultant files on the Desktop as a default location.

Click on the Split Button to begin the Parquet File split process.

After the split process is completed, the tool offers a split status report for future analysis for users. Also, the users can save these reports on their devices.
