SysTools Parquet Splitter Software: Step-by-Step Guide to Break Parquet Files
Effective steps to break large .parquet files into smaller chunks depending on their Size, Record Count, or Column Names.
The tool offers four modes to browse files:
- Add File(s): To add .parquet files manually in the software.
- Add Folder(s): To add a complete folder for the split process.
- Remove: To remove selected .parquet files from the software panel.
- Remove All: To remove all loaded files from the software panel.
Next, the tool will display the loaded files in the panel. If there are files you don’t need to split, you can simply click on the file to deselect it.
The Split Options Window will open. The tool offers three effective Split Modes:
- Split by Records: To split Parquet Files based on Record Count specified.
- Split by Size: To split the files based on desired sizes.
- Split by Columns: Allows splitting .parquet tables by specified column names.
Select Split By Record Count option if you wish to split the .parquet files by the number of records in each file.
Next, set the number of records for file split. The tool allows a range from 10 Records to 1 Million Records (10,00,000 records) per file.
Then, select the destination folder to save the resultant split files. The tool saves files on the Desktop as a default location.
Once the Parquet File split process is completed, a pop-up message for Split Process Completion will be displayed.
After the split process is completed, the tool offers a split status report with Total File Count, Success File Count, Failed File Count for future analysis for users.
Also, the users can save these reports on their devices.
Select Split By Size option to split the .parquet files by the size specified for each resultant file.
Next, set the size for the file. The tool offers sizes in MB and GB, and offers the size range from 1MB to 10 GB for file split.
Then, browse the destination folder to save the resultant split files. If no destination chosen, the tool will save the resultant files on the Desktop as a default location.
Once the Parquet File split process is completed, a pop-up message for Split Process Completion will be displayed.
After the split process is completed, the tool offers a split status report for future analysis for users. Also, the users can save these reports on their devices.
Next, select the column names from the loaded .parquet files. With the tool, users can select the column names from the pop up window with the column names.
Then, browse the destination folder to save the resultant split files. If no destination chosen, The tool will save the resultant files on the Desktop as a default location.
After the split process is completed, the tool offers a split status report for future analysis for users. Also, the users can save these reports on their devices.
