Follow the Steps to Delete Unwanted Rich Media from PDF Document

STEP 1

Launch and start the SysTools PDF Media Remover on the computer (Windows OS).

From Dual Feature, such as “Add Files” and “Add Folder”, click on add files to upload PDFs.

After clicking the "Add Files", browse the PDF containing rich media content from your computer > tab open.

In the next interface, there are three options under media types, i.e., Attachments, Inline Images, and Rich Media for instant removal.

Go to Select Media Object and tap “Remove Attachment” to delete the attached files from PDF document.

To remove media > Select Media Action: Remove or Remove and Save icon.

  • Remove: To permanently remove all attachments from any PDF document.
  • Remove and Save: Using this feature, users can remove and even save the attachments future needs or backup.

STEP 11

Go to Destination Path and click Change to set the path for output files.

After selecting the Change button, browse the location to save the resultant document.

Press the Export button to remove all attachments, making the document sizable and manageable.

After clicking on Export option, the tool start the process. Once it done, a pop message will appear as "Export process is successfully completed" > press Ok button.

Now, check the status: number of files, success count, and failure count. Additionally, you can review the path of output files.

Lastly, you can access the PDF without any attached files.

From Select Media Object, click on Remove Inline Image to delete embedded images.
