How to Import Single .vcf With One Contact into iCloud

The error that occurs while opening a type of vCard file having single contact within it is ‘could not import some contacts’.

To fix the problem in such scenario, follow below set of instructions :

STEP 1

Open vCard Viewer Pro application on your machine and click on Add File button

Select the VCF file that you need to import from vCard to iCloud and click on Open button

If required then, preview the contact information of browsed VCF file. Else, skip this step

Click on Export button to initiate the main procedure of fixing ‘could not import some contacts’ error

Select the browsed vCard file and then choose eitherMerge vCard or Split vCard option

Click on the icon of Browse button and locate towards the folder where you want to save updated VCF file. Hit on OK to proceed

How to Import Single / Several .vcf With Multiple Contacts In iCloud

An iCloud user will be able to import only one vCard file at a time. In order to open multiple VCF contact files, one needs to combine multiple VCF files into one vCard. But, there is one more problem with this measure that whenever users create merged VCF file and import it in the iCloud account, they encounter errors like unable to import vCard to iCloud and could not import some contacts.

Therefore, a simple, systematic, and error-free solution to import multiple vCards in iCloud is illustrated below :

STEP 1

Open vCard viewer Pro software and click on Add Folder button.

Choose the folder, which is having multiple VCF files to be transferred in iCloud account. Click on OK to continue

Note : You can also use Add File option, if you are having a single VCF file with multiple contacts within it. Browse the file in vCard viewer pro tool and continue with Step (3)

You can have a look on all the contact data of vCard files and once you are done this, click on Export button.

An Export Options wizard will appear in which you have to select all the vCard files you want to import in iCloud account. After this, enable the radio button of Merge vCard option to proceed further with ‘unable to import vCard to iCloud’ error fixing

Hit on the Browse icon of the software and select the folder where you want to place resultant merged file. Click on OK to proceed further

Finally, get the required VCF file just by clicking on Export button which you can import from vCard to iCloud

Steps to Import VCF File in iCloud Account

Once you get a vCard file from our vCard Viewer Pro software, now import vCard to iCloud Account. Here, we are demonstrating the importing procedure with the file, which we got from merging procedure using vCard Viewer pro application.

STEP 1

Login into your iCloud account and click on Contacts box

Click on the Gear icon, located at the bottom left hand side of the page and choose Import vCard option

Browse towards the path where targeted VCF file is saved, select it, and click on Open button to import vCard to iCloud

Finally, all the contacts will be listed in the address book section of your iCloud account & thereby resolving your error : unable to import vCard to iCloud
