SysTools CAD Converter Tool: Know How It Works!

Stepwise Guide on How to Convert CAD Files into 15+ File Formats with Ease.

STEP 1

Download and Install SysTools CAD Converter Tool on Windows OS.

Pick any option: “Add Files or Folders” feature to upload CAD files.

Now, you can select 5+ source formats, including DWG, DXF, DWF, DWFX, DGN, IFC, etc.

Choose the “Remove” and “Remove All” options to delete unwanted CAD files.

Click on the Next button to start the conversion process.

The tool offers a Preview Feature to validate structure of CAD .dwg file individually by selecting each one.

Click on the Next Button to save the data after the conversion process.

The advanced utility provides 15+ Export Options, which are categorized into 3 formats:

Choose PDF, a universal file format to convert CAD to PDF document.

Now, in Output Settings, there will be 3 different options available:

  • Create Individual File for Each Image: Generate a single file for every image.
  • Create Single for All Images: Generate indivdual file for all desired images.
  • Add Password on PDF Output File: Users can add password protection to output PDF file

Now, select Page layout Margin from tool using the given below options:

  • Choose top, left, right, and bottom margins.
  • Pick paper orientation: Portrait and Landscape.
  • Select page size: A4, A3, and Letter.

Click on Change icon to set the destination path.

Select the Output File where you need to save converted data.

Now, you can view the location file is added; tab on Export button.

After that, two options will appear to set a password on PDF Output file:

  • Apply same passcode to all Output files: In this, set a new password that will apply to all uploaded CAD files.
  • File-Specific Password: This option states that set different passwords for all added CAD files.

Now, hit the Export button to finish the entire task.

You can watch the Status of conversion, which will display:

  • Total Files
  • Sucess Rate
  • Failed Files

After the progress report, a pop-up will appear; click on OK button.

Tap on View Report feature to open resultant PDF file.

Now enter the added password and view PDF document.

The robust tool offers 10 different image export formats; you can pick any of them. Choose PNG as a file format for conversion.

In Output Settings, you will get an option to Resize Images: Width and Height option. So, you can change size of image according to your preference.

Note: In this option of Page Layout is not available.

Click on Change button to choose location path of source file.

Now, select the Output File where you need to save image format files.

After that, you can see added destination file and click on Export icon.

Now, you can view Current Progress Status; wait for it.

A pop-up will appear, tap on Ok button.

After completing process, click on View Report to open .png files.

On the screen, all the CAD.dwg files are converted into Image.png format.

In this file format, mainly two options are available, select DXF to convert .dwg files into .dxf format.

In Output Settings, No Additional Settings feature is available, and also No Page Layout feature is provided.

Set the location path by clicking on Change option from dashboard.

Now, pick the Output File to save resultant output data.

Your selected destination file is added, so tab on Export button.

Now, wait for a few seconds for the whole process to finish and Check Status after completion.

On your screen, a pop-up will come, hit on Ok icon.

Lastly, tap on View Report to open new .dxf files.

Now, all the CAD DWF files are converted into DXF file format.
