Gmail Grant User Consent

Follow the step-by-step guide below to grant user consent in User Mode of the Gmail Backup Solution.

Privacy Notice and Consent for Accessing Your Gmail Data

Dear User,

Your privacy is very important to us, and we are committed to keeping your personal information secure and confidential. To provide the backup functionality of our product, SysTools requires access to your Gmail account. Below, we outline the details of the data we need, how it will be used, and how you can manage your permissions:

By granting the requested permissions, you consent to SysTools accessing your Gmail account through Google APIs. You acknowledge that this access is limited to the scope and purpose described above.

STEP 1

Go to the Source screen and click Sign in with Gmail to start the authentication process.

A User Consent window will appear, scroll to the bottom and click Move to Permissions Grant Page.

Your browser will open and redirect you to the Google Sign-in page. The tool will automatically detect your Gmail address. Click Next.

Enter your password and click Next again.

If 2-Step Verification is enabled, follow the on-screen instructions to verify your identity.

Next, review the requested permissions, select the required checkboxes, and click Continue to grant access.

Make sure all necessary permissions are selected before proceeding.

After granting access, a confirmation message will appear indicating that authorisation was successful.

Once authorisation is complete, the tool will automatically validate the permissions and proceed to the next step.

STEP 2: Revoke Consent (if needed)

Go to Google Account Permissions, and sign in with your Gmail account.

Locate SysTools Gmail Backup in the list of connected apps, and click Remove Access to revoke app-level permissions for your Gmail account.
