Outlook calendar sharing is quite useful for both personal and business users. It allows you to share your meeting links, inform others about your schedule, plan out events, and much more. However, sometimes users might want to undo sharing, but what if they don’t know how to make Outlook Calendar private?

Don’t worry; that’s exactly what this guide is for. Here, you will find step-by-step instructions on how to unshare your calendar. Let’s first take a look at situations where you would stop sharing your Outlook calendar.

Why Do Users Make Their Outlook Calendar Private?

People might want to trigger an unshare request if they believe that their confidential meetings and personal events are at risk of being exposed. For example, if a user adds their private medical appointments to a public calendar by mistake. It might be embarrassing, so to avoid such a situation, they must undo the shared permissions ASAP.

It’s not always users that require privacy; businesses change plans and shift teams often. When a project ends, it’s no use maintaining full access to the calendar for all team members. The data is most likely going to be archived, so admins may also end sharing permissions except for a select few.

These cover the vast majority of reasons; let’s now go through the methods one by one.
