Settings Checklist:
- HCL Notes Client 12 or 14 must be installed.
- Notes Client must remain open.
- "Don't prompt for password" enabled.
- Manager access on Names.nsf.
- Reader access (min) on Source User Database.
- Read and Write permissions required on migration folders.
- HCL Notes Client must be configured with Domino Server connection.
- User must be logged in with Administrator privileges on migration machine.
- VC++ Redistributables 2012 and 2015 must be installed.
- Disable sleep mode for system and disks during migration.
- Antivirus should not block the migration application.
- It is recommended to replicate NSF files locally for better performance.
- Calendar Repair Assistant (CRA) should be turned off.
- Delegated and Manager mailboxes should be migrated in the same batch.
- Destination OneDrive accounts should be pre provisioned.
- End users should avoid moving mailbox data during migration.
- Throttling limits should be increased if required (EWS and Graph API).
- Run SysTools Service.exe with Administrator privileges.
- Domino Server IP must be reachable from migration machine.
- Notes Client location must be set to Online mode.
- Open required ports: 16001, 16002, and 443.
- Minimum recommended bandwidth is 100 Mbps.
- PowerShell must be installed on the migration system.
- If Names.nsf does not appear, move it from deep path (Program Files) to a short path such as C:\Data\Names.nsf.
- The CN mapping CSV file must be placed in the same Data folder as Names.nsf.

Configuration Steps for Source
Ensure that HCL Notes Client version 12 or 14 is installed on the migration machine.
You can verify the specific version details from the Help > About menu.
Ensure that the HCL Notes Client remains open (e.g., on the Inbox screen) during the entire migration process.
In User Security Settings, enable the option to bypass password prompts so the tool can access data uninterrupted.
Navigate to File in the main menu to access Security > User Security option.
When prompted, enter your Notes password to proceed.
In the User Security window, select Security Basics and check "Don’t prompt for a password from other Notes-based programs".
Database Permissions:
Open the HCL Domino Administrator to manage permissions.
The configured user must have Manager-level permissions on the Names.nsf database.
The user must also have a minimum of Reader level access in the specific source user database being migrated.
For Local NSF File Migration: Setup the Source Folder Path correctly.
- Select a first-level folder on a drive (e.g., D:\Migration).
- The folder name length should be less than 20 characters.
- The Source folder path must contain the NSF Username folder which holds the .nsf file(s).
CN Value Mapping (For Local NSF):
Prepare a CSV file mapping the Source ID (CN Value) to the corresponding SMTP Address.
Use the software's browse feature to locate and import this CSV file.
