Follow step by step guide to Migrate OneDrive documents to another OneDrive by SysTools Migrator
Pre-Requisites
Note: Before starting the migration please make sure about the destination domain name(e.g., @domain.com, @domain.onmicrosoft.com, or hosted domains), as this cannot be changed later, because the software licenses will be consumed and these cannot be revoked afterwards.

From the software window, click on the "Setup" tab and select choose Source & Destination platform as Office 365.

Select Microsoft 365 as both your Source and Destination platforms.

Scroll down to the Resource & Workload section and check the Document box to enable OneDrive migration.

Check the Date Filter box to migrate selective data, choosing your desired timeframe from the calendar dropdown. Click Next.

Navigate to the Source tab and enter your source tenant's Admin Email and Application ID.

Click the Validate button to authenticate the credentials.

Once the Read User and Read Document permissions show green checkmarks, click Next.

Navigate to the Destination tab and enter your destination tenant's Admin Email and Application ID.

Click the Validate button to authenticate the destination endpoint.

Confirm that the Read User and Write Document permissions are successfully validated, then click Next.

On the Users tab, choose how to populate your migration queue. Select Fetch Users, Import Users, or click Download Template to manually map accounts.

To map users manually, click Download Template and save the UserMappingSample.csv file.

Open the template in a spreadsheet editor and input your Source User and Destination User email addresses.

Click Import Users, browse your local directory for the saved CSV file, and click Open.

Upload the file to import the mapped accounts into the tool.

A success prompt will confirm the processing is complete.

Alternatively, click Fetch Users to automatically pull all user accounts directly from the source tenant. Review the instruction prompt and click Continue.

A confirmation dialog will display the total number of users successfully fetched. Click OK.

Review the populated list of source and destination accounts on the Users screen.

Use the Search bar to quickly locate specific destination emails within large migrations.

Select the required accounts using the checkboxes, then click Validate at the top right to authorize the source and destination permissions.

After clicking Validate, a confirmation window will appear showing the number of successfully validated users. Click OK.

With your users selected and validated, click the Start Migration button at the top right of the screen.

A license verification prompt will appear, displaying your purchased, consumed, and available licenses. Click Start to proceed.

A final success message will confirm that the migration has started successfully. Click OK.

Upon starting, the tool redirects to the Migration tab, displaying the main dashboard. The top section visualizes the Total Items Migrated and a donut chart for the Data Volume Overview.

The lower section tracks mailbox status across four color-coded queues: Pending, In-Progress, Completed With Error, and Completed.

Click the grid icon at the top right to toggle from the default Tile view to a detailed List view.

As data transfers finish, accounts will automatically move into the Completed With Error or Completed queues.

Click the More Details link on any user card to open the Workload Data Insights window. This provides a granular look at the source, migrated, and failed folder counts.

If you need clarification on specific metrics, click the Information (i) icon to view the Workload Column Information glossary.

Click on a specific workload name from the insights window to open the Folder Analysis Details, displaying granular Source, Migrated, and Failed folder counts.

Click the Download Report button and Save the CSV file to your local system.

Use your File Explorer to locate the downloaded Folder Summary CSV in your recent files.

Open the CSV in Excel to audit detailed metrics, including exact Folder Item IDs and overall migration statuses.

To halt an active operation, click the Stop Migration button at the top right and confirm Yes in the dialog box.

A success message will appear confirming that the process has been stopped. Click OK.

Click the Migration Actions dropdown at the top right to manage subsequent data runs.

Select Retry Failed Items and choose specific users to process only the data that failed during the initial execution.

Select Re-Run Full Migration to completely restart the migration process from scratch for the selected accounts.

Select Delta Migration to scan and transfer only newly arrived data that has accumulated since your previous run.

To generate final documentation, click the Download Report dropdown and select Migration Summary Report.

A dialog box will prompt you to save the consolidated CSV summary report directly to your computer.

Locate the newly saved Migration Summary Report in your system's File Explorer.

Open the Summary Report in Microsoft Excel for a high-level overview of the execution statuses across all mapped source and destination accounts.

For deeper insights, select Detailed Report from the main dropdown menu and check the boxes for specific user accounts you wish to document.

Customize the report generation by selecting exact report types, such as the Migration Job Detail Report or Folder Reports, and click Generate.

Once the tool compiles the data, wait for the success prompt and click the blue Download button.

Save the generated ZIP archive containing the detailed files to your local system.

Extract the ZIP archive contents to access the automatically organized folders for each specific user account.

Open an individual user folder to inspect the highly granular, item-level CSV spreadsheets for their specific migrated workloads.

Navigate to the Settings tab and select General to manually tune the Concurrent user execution capacity slider.

Select the Logs tab and click the LOG badge to immediately preview execution handler details inside the application interface.

Access the SMTP tab, activate Enable email notification, and securely enter your server credentials.

Select the Notifications tab to fully customize subject lines and email content logic for automated migration updates.
