How to Recover Outlook Express Emails from DBX File?

Go to Start menu » Programs » SysTools Outlook Express Restore » SysTools Outlook Express Restore.

Now the next step is to Add desired Outlook Express DBX files to recover Outlook Express emails from DBX file. To select DBX files, click on Add button:

You will get the following screen as you click on the Add button:

Select the DBX File and then click on Open to open and load the selected DBX file on software.
To select another DBX file repeat the same step as above. All selected files will get displayed as shown:

Now choose the folder to save recovered Outlook Express Emails. Click on Browse button to select the folder to save Outlook Express emails after recovery.

After selecting the desired location for saving recovered file, software will display the following screen:

Now select the desired Output File Format from Save option to save recovered DBX emails as. The software facilitates to restore Outlook Express emails in five different file formats as: DBX, EML, PST, RTF, and MSG Format:
• Save as DBX
• Save as EML
• Save as PST
• Save as RTF
• Save as MSG
Select the suitable file format in which you want to recover Outlook Express emails.

Note: Advanced Scan and Save as EML Option is used when dealing with highly corrupted DBX files. The Advanced Mode of the scan will be helpful if the Normal scan fails to recover all the emails from highly corrupted DBX Files.

Click on Recover button to start recovering Outlook Express Emails. After clicking on Recover button, progress details will be displayed on-screen:

The recovered mail messages can be opened using the suitable email client according to the output file format selection.
