SysTools Outlook Email Address Extractor: Here's How it Works!

Extract Email Address from Outlook PST / OST / BAK / MSG Files Using this Amazing Utility

STEP 1

Click Start » All Programs » SysTools Outlook Email Address Extractor » The initial software screen will appear to you as:

Here, the software will provide you three options for adding files.

Click on Default Storage Path

Click on Select Storage Path. A drop-down menu will come.

Click on the desired file(s) to add file(s)into the software pane.

Once you added the Outlook file from the Outlook default storage, then you will able to view the added file in the preview area. Here you will able to see the file path and the size of the file.

If a user wants to select OST / PST / BAK file then, select the radio button next to it.

To add OST / PST / BAK files click on Add File(s). Select the desired file and click on Open button.

To add OST / PST / BAK folder click on Add Folder. Select the desired folder and click on OK button.

If you want to search files then, click on Search Files. Select the specific Drive and click on Search File(s) button.

After that select the files and click on Add.

If a user want to select MSG file then, select the radio button next to it.

To add MSG files click on Add File(s). Select the desired file and click on Open button.

To add MSG folder click on Add Folder. Select the desired folder and click on OK button.

If you want to search files then, click on Search Files. Select the specific Drive and click on Search File(s) button.

After that select the files and click on Add.

You can also opt Remove option to draw out wrongly imported files.

Click on "Remove All" option to remove all the added files from the Software.

Select Change button to change the destination of your file and press OK.

Then click on Next to move further.

Here, the software will extract the email addresses as per the selected properties. Click "Next" after that.

After clicking the "Export Type" the software will display various file formats. Select "PST".

If you want to apply Date filter then click on Add button to choose date in order to perform the range based extraction.

You can apply the other filters as per the choice like Domain Name, Exclude Email Address, Extract Email Address.

Domain Name:- The Software gives you an option to include and exclude domain names. For example:- abc.com, xyz.in. So, you can easily include or exclude particular domain name.

Exclude Email Address:- It provides a solution to exclude email addresses if it contains one of the following www, root, mailer, daemon, donotreply, robot.

Extract Email Address having a certain phrase:- It provides an option to exclude or include the email address if it contains a particular phrase in a subject.
