Steps for SQL Server Database Encryption

Now Decrypt your Encrypted Procedures, Functions, Triggers and Views of SQL Server 2019/2017/2016/2014/2012/2008 R2/2005/2000 database as we provide well performing utility with step wise step required information.

STEP 1

Go to Start Menu » Programs » SysTools® SQL Decryptor Software - The following screen will appear. Click on "Start".

Connect page will be displayed.

STEP 3

Software will fetch the available SQL Server Names by clicking on drop-down arrow.

Note: If the software unable to fetch SQL Server name then you can enter the SQL Server name manually.

Now, choose Login Mode either Windows Authentication or SQL Server Authentication . If you are using SQL Server Authentication then enter the valid user credentials.

STEP 4

Select the required database name by clicking the drop-down arrow. And Click Next.

STEP 5

Preview page will be displayed showing only the encrypted object names. Here you can click the object name and preview the decrypted text in the text box as follows. Then Click Next.

STEP 6

The software provides two export options. Choose either SQL Server or SQL Server Compatible SQL Scripts option as per your convenience.

Select the components you wish to export from the left panel. And, choose "SQL Server" option to export the database.

Choose either of the options: export database Without Encryption or With Encryption.

STEP 9

If you choose "Without Encryption" option then the software will export the decrypted database objects to SQL Server. Select Target Server Name by clicking on drop-down arrow, Login Mode, and User Credentials (if required). If you choose "With Encryption", later steps will be similar.

Now, choose the database name and Click on Export button to transfer the decrypted database.

STEP 10

When the export process is completed, notification and Export Report will pop-up. Click OK

The Software will show the status of exported data.

STEP 7

Select the components you want to export from the left panel. Also, choose "SQL Server Compatible SQL Scripts" option to export the database.

The data can be exported Without Encryption or With Encryption.

STEP 9

If you choose "Without Encryption" option then the software will export the decrypted database objects. Then click on Export button to transfer the decrypted database. If you choose "With Encryption", the steps will be the similar.

Browse the location to save the output file. And Click OK.

Once the export process is completed, an Export Report will pop-up.

Now, The Software will show the status of exported database.
