Steps to Operate Thunderbird Import Wizard

Simple Steps to Import Multiple MBOX File into Thunderbird Profile/Folder with proper On-Disk Folder Hierarchy using Thunderbird Import Wizard Software

STEP 1

Launch the “SysTools Thunderbird Import wizard” software. The user interface of the software is as follows:

Note: If you want to add a particular folder containing MBOX files then you can click on Add Folder(s) button.


STEP 2

Now, click on the “Add File(s)” or “Add Folder” button.

Once a file has been added, The software will show all the MBOX files or folder that you have imported within software interface, Click on “Next”.

Now Click on "Import" button.

You can view all the imported MBOX file within Thunderbird Email Client on your system as follows:

Note: If you want to add a particular folder containing MBOX files then you can click on Add Folder button.


STEP 2

Now, click on the “Add File(s)” button to import a single MBOX File or Multiple MBOX file at the same time using "Shift" button

Browse and select the specific file that is to be added to the software and click on the “Open” button.

Now, you can specify the filters for importing data from the Mbox files.

To Apply filters click on the corresponding radio button to “Apply Filters” text and click on the button “Set”.

Now select the date filter according to which the data is to be imported.

Note: The date filter is applied according to the received date of emails.

STEP 5

The software will automatically show all the id's that are configured on the Thunderbird application in the identities dropdown list as shown below:

Maintain Folder Hierarchy: The software maintains the folder hierarchy i.e the data is maintained in the same manner as it was in the Mbox file.

Note: Identities refers to the email id's configured in Thunderbird to which you want to import the .mbox file.


STEP 6

Now, The Import process will be completed successfully with a success message as shown below:

Once the import process is complete then you can very easily save the Report containing all the information such as : Number of Mails, Size Duration, & Status regarding the process of importing the MBOX file.

Now Navigate to the location on your browser where you need to Save the final report

Click on the “OK” button. As the whole process import process is complete.

Now, If you want to import more mbox files, You can select Yes/No as per preference.

Now open the Repoart to view the export report as follows:

Finally, you can view all the imported data in the Mozilla Thunderbird Application as shown below:

Select "Add Folder" to import multiple MBOX File stored within a Folder into the Application

Select the Specific folder that is to be added and contains all the Mbox files. Click on the “OK” button..

Once a folder has been added, The software will show all the Mbox files in the folder, Click on “Next”.

Now navigate to the location and save the final report.

You can view the Report of the process of importing Mbox files showing details: File Path, Number of Mails imported, Size of the File , Duration & Status of Report
