Steps to View Data from VHD File

Follow the mentioned steps to view all the VHD file data using the

Using SysTools VHD Viewer Tool

STEP 1

Go to Start » All Programs » SysTools VHD Viewer

STEP 2

Software supports multiple languages you can change language after clicking the drop down link. Select your language and UI will convert in your chosen language. Select a language and UI will change in it, English, Hindi, Bangla, Hungarian Norwegian, Dutch, Swedish, Danish, Polish, Portuguese, French, Italian, Japanese, Chinese, Spanish, Deutsch, Indonesian, and Russian

STEP 3

Click on the "Open" button to view the necessary VHD files.

Then Choose from Following Scan Type Options :

Select the VHD file which you want to open in the software.

Choose from different scanning options : Quick or Advanced scanning mode provided by the tool. Check "Recover Deleted Partition" option to recover data from deleted Partitions of VHD File.

Choose from different scanning options : Quick or Advanced scanning mode provided by the tool. Check "Recover Deleted Partition" option to view data from deleted Partitions of VHD File.

View all folders in left panel after complete scanning

Double click on any file after that software will gives Save and Preview option.

Now view the file properties in the application panel.

Afer that preview the image in the tool panel.

Also preview the hex value in the hard drive recovery software panel.

STEP 7

Hit Filter button and tool will list all categories (Photos, Audios, Videos, Emails, Databases, Documents, Archives, Executable).

Choose Filter option and view files. Suppose if users want to restore only documents then choose documents filter option. It will enable to restore only documents from retrieved data. Moreover it also gives total item count.

The file will be scanned and added to the software & data can be viewed on the software user interface as follows:

Note: The deleted data will be shown in the red text label as shown below:

Select Search Tab from bottom left riboon on the screen. Within the Search bar Type file name , file type or Filter by date (according to Created, modified & last Access Date) that you need to export

Choose "Upgrade to Pro" to save all VHD File items locally in native format.

Select the VHD file with formatted partition which you want to open in the software.

Choose from different scanning options : Quick or Advanced scanning mode provided by the tool.

A window is prompted "Scanning of selected file done successfully. Do you want to save scan ?". Choose Yes if you need to save scan for next time.

The file will be scanned and added to the software & data can be viewed on the software user interface as shown below.

Note: The formatted VHD data items will be shown in the red text label as shown below:

Select Search Tab from bottom left riboon on the screen. Within the Search bar Type file name , file type or Filter by date (according to Created, modified & last Access Date) that you need to export
