MS Word application of MS Office save word automatically after a specific interval of time, set by default (10 minutes) This Auto Recover feature of Microsoft Word is also helpful in recovering deleted Word file. Follow the steps to user Auto Recover Option

Step 1: Open MS Word Application & Open File option.

Step 2: Select Save option to check details location where file saved after auto recovery. By Default time is “10 minutes” you can change according to your need from “1 min” to “120 minutes”.

If you can locate an auto recover version of your deleted file, open that using MS Word and save is a separate location.

What Happen When Retrieved Deleted Word File Not Accessed

If you have a backup copy of this file in a USB pen drive or external hard drive, you have to access that and copy it to the system. If you have the backup copy in some cloud storage, you can retrieve from there too. If you have synced your system with any online services like OneDrive, Dropbox, etc., you can log in and check out the last edited version available. Then you can save that file in your local system.
