Simple Guide to Create JSON File

This document describes the steps for creating a Google Developer Project and obtain client JSON file for the migration process. SysTools will refer this project for migration purpose.

STEP 1

Go to Google Cloud Console & enter the credentials

After the successful login a New Window will be open as shown in the below screenshot. Now, click on the "Select a Project" option

After that click on the "New Project" option shown in the right side

Enter the Project name & hit the CREATE button

Go to 'Navigation Menu' (on the left-hand side) >> 'APIs & Services' >> 'Library'."

Select 'Google Drive API' from the library.

After selecting it click the 'Enable' option

Go to 'Navigation Menu' (on the left-hand side) >> 'APIs & Services' >> 'Credentials'."

Click on 'Create credentials', and select 'OAuth Client ID'

Now, it will ask for 'Configure consent screen'.

Select 'Internal' for Application Type, and Add Application Name (it can be anything)

Now Click on 'Add Scope'

Select 'Google Drive API' from the list, then click on ADD

Click on Save.



STEP 15

Click 'Other' option and give some name to it, and click on 'Create'.

On Clicking on download icon, you will get the JSON File. Please keep this file securely. It will be required during the migration process.


 [You need to provide it in the SysTools File System Migrator application under Google Project Settings.]
