How to Generate App Password for Yahoo Account

Follow procedure to Generate an Application Password For Yahoo Sign-In & Security Settings

STEP 1

Sign in to Yahoo account and go to Yahoo Account Settings page: https://login.yahoo.com/account/security

Scroll down and click on Generate App Password option.

Please note: This option is viewable if the Two-Step Verification option is enabled.

Choose the Select your app drop-down and select Other App option.

Enter the name of the application in the text field Enter Custom Name. Then click on the Generate option.

Copy the password and save it at a safe place. Click on Done option when password is saved.
