SysTools Export [G Suite Calendar to File System(ICS)] – Technical Help


Pre-Requisites

  • G Suite source admin must have access to Google APIs
  • Google project must be created to get a Client ID and P12 file.
  • Domain-wide scopes must be provided for source domains.
  • Destination folder should have write permission.
  • Destination should have enough space according to size of source account.
  • Antivirus should not block the application
  • Downloading speed should be 10 Mbps.
  • The Source domain should be having scopes
  • Calendar API should be enabled.

Features

  1. ICS file will save as Calendar Subject name and if Subject is empty then ICS will save as “No Name”.
  2. In Case of Duplicate subject name ICS will save with Incremental count.
  3. ICS Version (v2.0).

Shortcomings and Limitations


Limitation Reason
Forward slash [ / ] in Folder name Windows itself not support [/] in folder name. It will be replaced by “_".
Backward slash [ \ ] in Folder name Windows itself not support [\] in folder name. It will be replaced by “_'.
