How to Turn Off Two Step Verification for Hotmail Account

Open the Microsoft Authenticator App on your smartphone. Enter the Two-Step Authentication Code displayed on the Authenticator App.

Click on the Manage button below to Two-Step verification option.

Under Two Step Verification Click on "Turn Off two-step verification"

A prompt is generated saying : "Are you sure that you want to turn off two-step verification?". Click on Yes option

Follow procedure to Generate an Application Password For Hotmail Sign-In & Security Settings

Click on Advanced Security Options to proceed further.

Scroll-down to the App Passwords section to create a new App Password.

Important Note: You won't see this option if you haven't enabled Two-Step Verification.

The text shown below App password is the generated app password. Save this code to open the account on other devices that does not accept security codes.
