SysTools Migrator – Technical Help (Domino to Office 365 Migration)

Pre-Requisites

  • Lotus Notes client 9.0 should be installed on the machine.
  • Lotus Notes component should be registered.
  • Lotus Note Client should be connected to the Domino Server.
  • VC++ redistributors should be installed.
  • .NET Framework 4.8 should be installed.
  • Lotus Notes password should be provided if applicable.
  • If DOAS is enable in that case user should compact NSF from Domino Server before adding to migration.
  • For application service installation user should provide MachineName/UserName having admin privilege’s.
  • Project should be created on Azure portal to get the service account credentials.
  • Project should be granted with required scopes.
  • Destination user should have a valid O365 license
  • UPN should be provided for the user.
  • Dominos server should be on premise and it should be ON.
  • The user configured to Lotus Notes Client should have minimum Manager level access.
  • CN value, Mail file path and Internet address should be there for every user in names.nsf file.
  • User which you want to migrate must have at least Read permission.

Scope

Feature List:

Multiple Organizational unit addresses for single user : In case if a user is moved from one organization unit to another then NSF/Mailbox file may contain multiple CN value addresses for single user.

Undelivered Mail Supported Migrated, but not as like source. Its subject and body contents are getting changed.
Calendar invitation trace report Supported Migrated, but its body is not as like source.
Calendar invitation status[Accepted, Rejected, Tentative accepted etc] notification mails Supported Not migrating in Inbox mails section. It will migrated in Calendar section within “Inbox” folder.

Shortcomings and Limitations

Irrespective of workload type all folders will get created for email, Calendar and contact. API Limitation
More than 35 MB Email More than 35 MB emails will get save to OneDrive.
