Workaround 1: Run SECPOL.MSC

    • Step 1: Firstly, run secpol.msc to check the local security policy on “Hub” server.
    • Step 2: Then, check for Manage auditing and security logs on the “Default Domain Controllers” Policy to view if the “Exchange Servers” group is present there.
    • Step 3: Here, you need to also check on the Exchange server component for the “Constrained Delegation” rights. And view if the “Exchange servers” group has permitted for the following rights, security tab, advanced settings.
      • Store Read and Write Access
      • Store Constrained Delegation
      • Store Transport Access
      • Store Read-only Access
    • Step 4: Now, check if the sign on account for Microsoft Exchange Mail Submission service is “local system” account.
    • Step 5: If you need to check it then, you should have to follow the below-listed steps:
      1. Hit on the start button and then “Run”.
      2. After that add “Services.msc
      3. Now, choose “Microsoft Exchange Mail Submission” service.
      4. Then click on right and then opt property.
      5. Choose “Login” tab.
      6. Afterward, opt an option to Local System account.
      7. Click on “Apply” to move forward.
      8. Finally, hit on “OK”.
  • Step 6: Lastly, you have to try to run ExBPA to have a health scan.

Workaround 2: Duplication of Active Directory

  • Step 1: To fix Exchange error 1009, initially generate a new “Active Directory” group that is named “ContentSubmitters,” and then grant Administrators and Network Service full access to the group. This is just a dummy group and should be used as a placeholder only. You might be required to add a description so that the group is not extracted.
  • Step 2: Then, wait or force for “Active Directory” duplication.
  • Step 3: Lastly, restart the following services:
    • MS Exchange Search Host Controller
    • Microsoft Exchange Search

Workaround 3: Verification of Configuration Windows Settings

You have to follow the steps to open Default Domain Policy and then navigate to computer configuration-windows settings-security, settings-local, policies-user, rights-managed, auditing and security log, there please check if Exchange Server group has been already added there.

    • Step 1: At the first step, open “Active Directory” users and computers.
    • Step 2: Now, in the console tree, you have to right-click the domain or organizational unit for which you need to set “Group Policy”.

  • Step 3: Hit on “Properties” as an option, and then select the “Group Policy” tab.
  • Step 4: In this step, you have to do one of the following as per the desire:
    1. To create a new Group Policy object, select New, add a name for the precise Group Policy object, and then choose “Edit”.
    2. To edit an existing Group Policy object, select the Group Policy object in the list after that opt “Edit”.

Notes:

  • You can open Group Policy Object Editor in multiple ways, depending on the action that you need to execute and the object to which you want to apply Group Policy.
  • To begin “Active Directory Users and Computers”, select Start >> Control Panel >> Administrative Tools >> Active Directory Users and Computers.
